Number Please

A very cute little novelty from the 1950s.   This comes in other colour telephones and this was a gift from my friend Lorna.

German Head of a Girl

These very sweet German perfume bottles are amazing - they are only around 1.5cm wide at the widest point.   I bought this from ebay and the seller (from Germany) stated it was from a long closed pottery or porcelain factory - old stock.   Perhaps somwhere that closed at the outbreak of WW2.   I would date it to the 1930s so that makes sense.

Cussons Glass Ladies Leg

This is a great little glass bottle from Cussons.   Still on it's original card and in the original box this would date from the 1930s.   The ladies leg is quite thin glass and it is topped by a taffeta style ribbon and a crown top.   Cussons still make soaps and detergents today and would be one of the top selling brands  here in Australia.   I didn't realise that they made perfumes - so still learning!

Crown Top Girl with Flowers

Another great little Crown Top bottle, lovely colours and around 90cm tall.

Crown Top Cupie

This little crown top cupie comes in a variety of poses, arms forward, arms behind back etc but this one has arms crossed.   Made in Germany these well known cupie crown tops are very hard to resist.
