Gelle Freres - The Mikado.

The opera The Mikado was written by Gilbert and Sullivan and first performed about 1885.   It was a sensation with it's exotic location and characters from Japan.   Then as now many other consumer goods cashed in on the current craze and this is one example.   My friend Julianne bought this for me at a junk shop for only $10 and I think it's well worth that although the label is a little worn.  

L T Piver - Oeillet

The label is a lttle tatty on this bottle but it's not seen around a lot.   Typical strong graphics on the label from Piver.

Bourjois Ashes of Roses Eau De Cologne

Around 14cm tall this eau de cologne of Ashes of Roses still smells quite nice.   The stopper is frosted.

Another of the Djer Kiss Range, this time a perfume bottle with the distinctive label.

An unusual version of this fragrance, quite narrow with a smallish cut glass stopper. 8.5cm high
