Yardley Compact

A really pretty floral design in the centre of this compact but most of Yardey's compacts are pretty. This is a nice size at about 7.5cm in diameter and very slim.
Richard Hudnut Deauville Compact

It's so hard to get a good shot of very shiny objects. This was one of the most popular compacts put out by Richard Hudnut and this one is on pristine condition.
Yardley Bee and Pollen Compact

This is Yardley's 1952 compact. Being a 1952 version myself I had to have one in my collection. This one has remained unused in its pouch which is good because often the high spots on the painted pollen are scratched.
Yardley rouge and powder compact

The box on this compact is marked by appointment to her Majesty Queen Mary. It has 2 circular spaces, one for rouge and one for powder. Original puffs are in place. I think this would date from the late 1940s. Queen Mary died in 1953.
Cashmere Bouquet Cake Make up

The familiar man with a bouquet logo has been cut away on this heavy bakelite cake makeup compact. This is around 7cm in diameter and quite an interesting example.
