Blue Hyacinth Rouge

This is an art deco styled bakelite rouge by the J & W Ross Cosmetic company  Melbourne.  Never used it still has the original puff which is pale blue with the profile of a womans head on it.

Yardley cream rouge

Around 3.5cm in diameter this lovely little cream rouge pot features the familiar Yardley bee logo.  It is made from bakelite and is now empty.

Judith Aden rouge

Although the puff is missing there is a small paper over the rouge giving the company name and address as Judith Aden Products 188 Pitt Street Sydney.  This is a bakelite container and the base has the brand name etc moulded into it with the advice that the product is "Available in four fascinating smart shades", this one is medium.

Smart Girl Rouge

The cover is not quite so pink as it appears, it's actually more red.   Smart Girl appears to be an Australian brand as it is marked on the base A Daintee Product, and I have another Daintee item with its Melbourne address on the label.   This one still has the original puff although the rouge is all gone.

Bourjois Ashes of Roses rouge

The colour of this little bakelite rouge compact is actually a darker red than shown but it is very nice.   Never used, it still has the little Bourjois puff and the paper tissue over the rouge.
