This bottle has an interesting paper label but I don't think it as old as it looks, I think it would date to around 1900. It is described on the label as an exquisitely refreshing and lasting perfume. There are a couple of medals on the label but I think these are for show as there are no dates or mention of what the medals were for. The bottle has Fauldings embossed on the rear.
F H Faulding was an English chemist or pharmacist who emigrated to Adelaide in South Australia in the mid 19th century. His firm F H Faulding & Co Ltd. grew to become a major company and I believe that the perfumes were just a sideline with pharmaceuticals as the mainstay of the business.
