The Palais Royale was an exclusive shop in 18th and 19th century Paris that specialised in catering to wealthy patrons. They sold perfume of course in many novelty presentations like these which are generally known as Palais Royale perfumes although other stores may have sold similar items.
This little boat is made from shell and brass with a small crystal bottle.
